Top 10 New Home Design Features

As a Realtor with Coldwell Banker, HPW and the Jim Allen Group, I have spent over ten years as a new home sales professional and I am SHOCKED to see that a screened in porch, or outdoor living space didn't make the top 10.  However, if your considering must haves this makes sense.  More people are working from home, need a home office and storage space and want the home to be energy efficient in general. All of the floor plans in the Meadows are Energy Star and have mudrooms with built in cubby's which are awesome.  They actually evoke emotions of older homes built in the late 20's.  Our model home the Wake Forest also has a huge walk in closet in the master, I would guess it is 8'x15' with built in wood shelving.  Leave your response as well with some of the most have's if it's not on this list.
